Aluminium windows offer many advantages. They are strong, durable and don’t rust or corrode… Aesthetically they are appealing, having slim-lines, a greater area of glass and frames that are less visible.
As a premium product our aluminium windows require very little maintenance and will last for many decades into the future. Aluminium is probably the most sustainable of all building materials and is environmentally friendly; even at the end of life it is continually recyclable so it effectively lasts forever.
Our aluminium windows can be coloured a wide range of attractive RAL colours. There are over 200 individual colour options, and you can even choose different colours on the internal and external faces. The colours are incorporated in a baked on polyester powder coating that is essentially permanent and won’t fade or flake over time.
Our expansive range of aluminium windows includes many of the industry’s largest brands, so we are able to provide many alternative designs. Whatever your specific requirements, we will be able to recommend the best window design for you.
Casement windows are traditional window systems in which opening windows (lights) are connected to the frames with hinges. The hinges can be mounted on the sides of the frames or on the top or a combination of both of them. The non-opening lights are permanently fixed to the frames.
Steel Replacement Windows
Many period properties have steel frame windows, and although they add character to the dwelling they also have many problems. Our steel replacement aluminium windows are designed to retain the appearance of traditional Crittall steel windows. They are super slim yet designed to provide high levels of thermal efficiency.
Aluminium Sash Windows
Sash windows include vertical sliding sections, the ‘sashes’, which are counterbalanced by weights hidden inside the window frame. They provide good natural ventilation, and don’t project either internally or externally. Timber sash windows are prone to warping, sticking and draughts, aluminium sash windows offer high thermal efficiency, noise insulation & low maintenance.
Aluminium Horizontal Sliding Windows
Horizontal sliding windows have overlapping sliding sashes that move horizontally in the frame. As they don’t project internally or externally, they are the ideal solution should there be an obstruction that precludes using a casement window. They are also a safe option for applications such as a serving hatch.
Aluminium Tilt & Turn Windows
Tilt and turn windows are a perfect solution for high rise buildings as they can be cleaned from the inside. They can be tilted from the top to provide a degree of ventilation or opened inwards for maximum ventilation and easy cleaning.
Curved Aluminium Windows & Gables
Curved aluminium windows & gables are manufactured using computer controlled bending machines. This permits many different shapes to be produced including arches, circles, D shapes, and bespoke designs that can be tailored to fit any particular space.
